Getting into kegging

I have a the possibility of picking an EdgeStar (KC2000SSTWIN) Dual Tap kegerator for $160. I know I will need a Sanke to ball lock adapter conversion kit for the beer and the gas. I already have a line on a 5-gallon keg. Or should I be looking for something else?

You can't just change the hose ends on the kegerator??

Buy spare lines, GOOD hose clamps, you may need a manifold; gas in, lines out to the kegs, CO2 cylinders (plural) bc one is none and two is one. Keep a bottle of spray star San solution to check for leaks.

I have 2 kegerator’s and 2 fridges. One fridge has taps, all in I have 8 CO2 and one nitrogen taps. I started with a single tap kegerator off Amazon, then added 3 tap tower. Then a 2nd kegco kegerator, then 2 fridges I got used, but one gave out. I finally broke down and bought a decent new fridge 2 years ago for about $700. It’s supposedly “garage rated” to be able to cool in summer heat. So far, I agree.

Would stay away from sanke. More trouble that it's worth for homebrew.

Get (2) 5 gal ball lock cornie kegs.

Then you just need gas, hose, faucets and fittings.

We have 2 Samsung garage rates fridge/freezers. One set to 38F for beer , one set to -10F. The garage gets to about 130F and they stay cold

I don't know about an adapter but like @west1m saysy just remove the lines going to the sanke tap and replace with your ball lock fittings and lines.
of course if you plan on buying commercial kegs save the sanke tap to use
I actually have some sanke kegs that I pulled the spear and replaced with a tri clamp and ball lock fittings if that is what your planning
I got those kegs for free with beer but if your buying I agree ball or pin lock kegs are much easier

I too highly recommend corny kegs. You can fit 4 of them in most fridges. Start with one. And grow from there! I would recommend putting the tap(s) in the door if you go the fridge route. Used fridges are pretty easy to come by and are economical. Start with picnic taps, or you can get reasonably priced flow control taps that can right on the keg liquid post to start.
Proof of concept...
The flow control tap is a little difficult to see in the second picture, zoom in to see it. Can't remember who makes them but the work well.
