First Wort

I Mash 1 day & Boil the next. Never more than 2 days between. I drain the Mash Tun into my carboy. It's about 165 by the time the Sparge has made its way out. Be ready with a second Carboy as 5 gal won't hold Kettle volume. Put in the plug & airlock & let it cool down.
Next day move wort from carboys into Kettle & Boil as usual.
I never thought of putting Hops in the overnight cool down. I have skiny Hop Sacks for Dry Hopping that would handle that.
