EdWorts Bavarian Hefe

I only have three brew's under my belt and just pitched the dry yeast into the fermenter. never had any problems with fermentation.
if I re-hydrate the yeast, how do I keep the container the yeast is in sterile? Do I cover it with saran wrap sprayed with sanitizer?

sure or any plastic container, just don't get it wet and keep it cool, good luck

If I soak a container in starsan to sterilize how do i dry it without introducing possible infection?
I apologize for the noob questions but just want to make sure beforehand.

a baggie works fine, don't sanitize, sanitizer doesn't even work after its dry

I do mine in a glass measuring cup and often don't remember to sanitize it prior to rehydrating the yeast. Never had problems with infection. That doesn't mean I never will but to date, so far so good. Best is to boil the water then let it cool back to the range for rehydrating.

:) I assumed he was talking about the container for rehydrating. A baggie can be assumed to be sanitary off the roll, an assumption I make successfully for plastic wrap and aluminum foil as well.
