Deep Cuts Tunes

Driving into work on Friday and i was listening to The Mount, the local college station that plays a mostly classic rock format and they were playing a great set of southern rock and late 70's stuff that put me in such a great mood that I was whistling Marshall Tucker tunes all day. It was still in my head this morning so I watched the Martin Scorsese documentary on Dylan's Rolling Thunder Revue...frigging awesome!
So with that.... "Ok Zoomers"..I don't care about Drake or Kendrick....They don't write them like they used to....hell...back in my day, artists covered other artists' tunes ....and it was a compliment!

Get off my lawn!

I LOVE me some old Marshall Tucker.

I have loved the above since I heard it the first time In the 80s. But, now, even more.

Good Ole Tom Cochrane

not sure how deep but while working outside I played my deep cut Van Halen playlist. 6 pack minus all radio songs.

Hope you got some Women and Children First in that :)

Don't know if it's what you're looking for but can we talk about if there was funk/rock/metal/etc. fusion band to come out of LA in the 80s to make it big it should have been Fishbone and not the Red Hot Chili Peppers
