I’m still new done about 6 batches but slowly learning. Looking for more info on grain and hop flavors so that I can start making some custom recipes. I love Amber and brown ales.

John Palmer’s book How to Brew has some good info on that. Not a chart, but a paragraph about each of a bunch of grains.

If you find such a thing, let us know, as that would be quite useful. (I don’t know of one)

I'm still struggig with hops...
So many different ones....
But as I mainly brew on the Belgian side, yeast is even more important

For hops I have often just used Google with "simcoe hops characteristics" or something like that. As you gain experience, you will also gain knowledge on what hops are best in what style, and how best to utilize them. For instance some hops are more suitable as bittering hops than others. My preference for bittering hop is Magnum, but others prefer warrior, or others.
