Can beer affect my teeth?

And to think this is only beer not medicinal Drugs or worse:eek:.
While it may be a bit unethical to confiscate minor's beer and drink it himself, I see no reason to believe he'd use illegal drugs he confiscated. I drink. I don't use illegal drugs.

Beer is currently illegal in some countries , was in the US for a period as well .
I don't use illicit drugs myself but hard to argue that excessive consumption of a legal drug like booze is more or less harmful than moderate consumption of other compounds that are illegal here in Australia .

I won't open the whole can of worms here yet again but moderation in all things

Not the point I was trying to make.

We finally managed to settle that argument here in Colorado. At least for now.

One country that our government could learn from is Portugal they have legalised all drugs and set up some good rehabilitation programs for usesers.

Some drugs are just downright evil , whether a compound is legal or not is just an act of government but biology determines what is harmful .

I can walk into any shopping centre and fill my trolley with codiene and aspirin , buy all the tobacco I like and spirits by the case all of which can be addictive or fatal but are perfectly legal but need a script to buy the cold and flu tablets that work properly

The Netherlands, too.

Is it true that beer can affect the intensity of anesthesia?

That's a hell of a first post. Bravo.

Regular consumption of alcohol can affect how your body processes anesthesia yes, in that it is less effective.

I was hoping to receive a "no" because I've got one more week before my dental implant surgery, and I'm pretty freaking out about it. Has anyone of you got implants? I've opted for https://www.bridgedentalsmiles.co.uk/treatments/dental-implants/, as they're one of the best specialists in this area, so I'm sure it will go smoothly. However, the doctor told me that alcohol is a strict no-no after the procedure, so I'm trying to compensate now. Lol. It's a pity that beer can't be used as a general anesthetic. I swear the surgery would be more pleasant. Wish me luck!

Oh sure you can just bring your own bottle of high octane spirit to the event making sure to lubricate ones self into a state of utter eneibriation before hand and she'll all be right! other than the high possibility of choking on one's own vomit whilst laying back in the dentist chair .

Oh shit you're real!
I had one of my front teeth done as a dental implant after losing the original playing hockey in college.
This was when I was using a flipper plate waiting for the implant to heal so the crown could be installed.

The implant wasn't to bad actually, when they screwed the crown into the implant though that hurt like hell.

I have 3 implants. They do not hurt at all during the surgery because you are completely numb. Afterwards there is some soreness and dull ache, which (depending on your pain tolerance) either OTC pain meds (tylenol, advil, aleve) or posisbly an opioid will keep in completely manageable. After a day or two the pain is no worse than a shark bite...err, no, a mosquito bite. :p

Do what they say and it'll heal fast and strong. Don't, and it might fail, meaning they do it again...

You could talk to a pharmacist on the possible interactions or other reasons not to drink after the procedure. My uneducated guess is that it reduces the effectiveness of the antibiotics. I've had one root-canal and three crowns. Maybe I've just got a good dentist or I'm just lucky but, while none were pleasant, none were close to the horror stories people like to tell you. Don't worry and do what they tell you to do.
