Regarding making holes in your fridge for wires, I found no need to myself, this works just fine.

The only thing I find the need to run into my fermentation fridge is the temperature probe cable for my Ranco. It's a pretty clean setup too and hardly noticeable. With the Ranco mounted on the wall next to the fridge, the cable runs on top and then under the top hinge plate. If I wanted to use a heating device, I'd follow the same route.

Down along the freezer door gasket and then passes over the middle hinge plate.

And under the gasket into the fridge.

Gotta love the dedicated full size fridge! And it looks pretty new so she’ll last you a good while. Nice setup too.

Got it new from Lowes. It was a scratch & dent deal. Less than half price and came with the factory warranty. It should outlast me

Tell that to my wife. She thinks my brewing gear is a mess. Admittedly, I do have a complete 3 vessel system and a bunch of odds & ends I need to get cleaned up, organized and sold, but I try to keep everything organized.
