Sourdough, right out of the oven!

A representative slice from my latest sourdough. I get a ton of color using just 50 grams of spent beer grains ground to flour. My wife commented that my past several bakes have produced consistent results, and I am very pleased with the crumb. This makes for an awesome egg sandwich when toasted.

Good crumb too.

A GF loaf costs $7 give or take.

That cost $3 to make less than half the cost.
And is likely tastes better. And, fresh bread like that doesn't need to be toasted to not be 'gritty', at least the commercial loaves we get there need to be toasted or they're cardboard.

Oh true that yeah they go stale quick my guess is slice em and freeze em.
 
Thats one great looking loaf of bread! I don't dare show it to Deb or she will be wanting to come visit.
Thanks man yes their hit n miss to make.
That one I've been able to replicate so fingers crossed I might be onto an store bought alternative and save some coin:D
