    Something in your setup or profile is weird: When I put that amount of grain into my standard 6-gallon profile I get an OG of 1.035.

    .....and JC caught it. Your efficiency should be around 70%. Change that and see what happens.

    Isn’t 35% the default for steeping grains on an extract recipe? Might be where that came from.
