Hi all, I'm a long time brewer getting back into the hobby after a hiatus.
I have what appears to be a fully charged 10# aluminum CO2 tank from my former life; it was filled specifically for keg dispensing from a reputable food-grade source. I'd estimate it to be about 10 years old.
Fast forward to present day- my local CO2 supplier is having problems with his equipment, and I find myself in need of a charge- can I use the gas in my old tank? CO2 is inert, so there shouldn't be a problem as far as chemistry goes, but is there anything else I should be concerned about?
Thanks in advance for all responses.
CK
