How about the odd USA breakfast time start?

Where I worked did not allow time to carry into the next year, and ‘extra’ time could be earned for weekend work. One year (ling ago) I had a major project and could not take time, so I finished the project in October and took off from the day before Thanksgiving until Jan 5. (I thought about using up my 3 weeks all in January too…)

It was horrible. Ran out of things to do, and was wishing I could go back to work. Ugh.

I get 6 weeks vacation, almost 30 years of service. Not sure I deserve it, but I sure am grateful for it at this stage of life. Still have 2 more days I need to book between now and Christmas. I want to be at work Christmas Eve though, want to do something nice for my team
 
I work on the boat most days, especially on weekends and get home around 5. I walk the dog, make dinner, etc, so really don’t have much time during the day until evening. I also am still working with homebrewtalk and of course Brewer’s Friend, among a few other things.

I love working on the boat- doing eco tours and wildlife viewing on a 32 foot long boat. Usually run two tours a day, except on Mondays (when I work at a state park in wildlife), and Tuesday is my day off usually during ‘snowbird season’ here in Florida. We tend to see dolphins, lots and lots of manatees, nesting colonial birds, alligators, fish in the springs, etc. Tips are awesome, so this is when I make my fun money for the year since it ends in about April. I don’t work with this Captain any longer (he’s moved on to a new gig) but I have two others I work with and it’s so much fun!

You can also make it a late one, if thats easier.
They are just suggestions anyway.
I'm normally up by 05 or 06.00 depending on the time of year. So that's 22-23.00 while this wintertime is in effect.
Might not have a beer though :)

With it getting chillier next week and the water cooling down, I bet you will see a crapload of manatee in the springs coming up:)
