    What if (Oatmeal Stout)

    I brewed an Oatmeal Stout ealier this month. I am planning to bottle it in 5 days. I choose this kind of stout because of the oatmeal flavor. What if I add half a pound of oatmeal with my carbonate solution (which would be 500ml of boiled water, 3 oz of maple syrup)?

    Oatmeal in a stout

    What's the optimal amount of oatmeal in an oatmeal stout to be able to perceive it? So many recipes call for 1 lb. But I'm curious if anyone has experimented otherwise. Thanks in advance for your thoughts and they don't have to be limited to stout.
