To indirectly answer your Anvil question: You can try calling Hancock and asking about getting some help, or spare parts, or a schematic. Soldered fuses are replaceable, but you need to use solder. Check them for continuity. Then give Anvil (or Grainfather or Brewzilla or…) and ask for the same...

I put mine in when kegging. I dissolve it in a cup of hot water, pour it in, re-purge the keg while it is lying on its side, then do a closed transfer in.

Good question. I don’t know. Several holes each night. Thankfully not my yard, but Tom’s. I think I need to go see it with my own eyes, get a sample under the microscope. Squirrels puking from hangovers??

I use only a blowoff tube.

The brewzilla pipe sits on ‘feet’ that hold it above the vessel, with only about 2 inches not showing. Any holes higher than that would likely want to squirt wort sideways, which would be undesirable.

Extra pale is not one of their most flavorful malts.

Side holes? My malt pipe has only screens on the bottom, the pipe itself is solid, no perforations. Putting perforations on the side of the malt pipe, completely defeats the possibility of sparging. How dumb is that?

Besides the visible grass, I mentioned the hole was around 2” in diameter and 3” deep. Like a mole hole, a bit smaller than chipmunk. No tunnel or mole lumps.
