    Good question! I assumed whole. (Some of mine where inside a 20 foot container for close on 2 years before using without a problem. At summer shade temps of 45 oC)

    Wort went into the fermenter this morning, added some water to get to required OG (normal way of brewing for me). In the fridge for about 10 hours now. No action yet. Mostly been brewing with kveik Voss, so I got to switch from "kveik" mode to "normal" mode. @Craigerrr : I didn't check expiry...

    Trasferred wort to fermenter and placed the fermenter in the fridge I almost forgot to add the yeast :)

    I'm sure you'll be fine. My grains are kept at pretty high temps. Humidity is much bigger iissue

    Milled the grains and currently mashing. Connected the inkbird to my fridge and turned it on to a couple degrees below the temperature I want. It will het up quick enough when I open the door

    What's your next brew

    OK Progress is made. The logistics will sort of work so I'm going to chance it. Found 1/2 pack M47 (abbey) and going to use that. Xtra pale ale (80%) sugar (10%) aromatic malt (10%) Fuggle as fwh and 15 minutes & saaz at hopstand I'll add some limes to the mash. Fermenting at around 18 oC

    I did find my notes. It looks like I used a little bakers yeast to get things started. Notes attached (excuse my hand writing) I'm sure I did one without, but I can't find details. On the other hand, I made a ginger beer that was incredibly tasty before fermentation. That may be something else...

    Welcome back Ben ... Yes, I have tried something like a ginger bug. Only once and about 5 years ago It definitely did work but then it died.. Lemme try see if I can find some details back inthe next couple of days as I'll be out today/tomorrow Otherwise: are you keeping well ;)
