beer consumption

Jeeez...you'd think they'd drink more beer!

GLP-1s: Rising use of weight loss drugs creating new challenges for beer companies, report states https://share.google/PLeACCAbRKmVzR4ug
Even though I really need to shed some pounds, I've resisted the GLP-1 route for several reasons, not the least of which is that I don't like the idea of not enjoying beer. For the sake of my health, I should definitely get over that and use the available tools to help get me back into decent shape but it's a tough decision for me.

I don't think anybody knows the long-term effect of those drugs. Some people need help, some don't. I would rather do it the traditional way. When I realized how many calories the big IPAs had, I freaked. I did learn how not to eat too much junk, drink some water without the grain added to it, try not to go too overkill with the beer, tone down the alcohol levels a bit in the beer, and maybe walk around once in a while.
Keep it in moderation, and life is fairly good. When I was much bigger, I did see what the weight does to your blood work, and it ain't pretty. 40 pounds lighter, and my bloodwork is almost normal with a couple of small exceptions.

That's my take on it as well. Cutting down on calories and exercising more is the better path...not that I'm taking that path, I just know it's the right path.

Y'all have this thing called "winter" where it is too miserable to go outside:) That and sun/daylight make a big difference.
We have the miserable factor for a couple of months in the summer, but it isn't as bad in the morning, and that is actually when I do yard work.
