First cloudy test pour of my Oktoberfest. It’s been lagering 10 days so it still has some time to go. Not bad, Tasting clean and malty. I’ll check back next week.

Nothing special simple 90% 2row 10% crystal 60
60 IBU
Drain the mash through wet hops
8oz wet hops at flameout
8oz wet hops whirlpool

The dark one was 9.5% but really lovely, but I had to limit myself to one. The light beer was super refreshing after a lone hot day.

I forgot to mention I’ve corrected them before but they still call it a black velvet (which is Guinness and sparkling wine). It’s a snake bite in England and everywhere else.

Green cream ale thanks Soda Stream! I bottled my cream ale and had a pint to play with and test drive with some brats and peppers for dinner. Kinda northern Italian/southern Germany....Liechtenstein pub food.....oh wait....Cream Ale...Very 'Merican..especially with this year's try at a decent half done dill pickle!
