The sample of partial mash lawnmower beer turned out very promising, so next up will be a partial mash version of Sunfire Golden Ale with Citra, Simcoe, and Mosaic. Though I'm starting to crave festbier and rye IPAs my palate is ready for fall even though it's 95 and smoky outside

If you make a Festbier now, it will be about the right timing.
I told the girlfriend awhile back, that I make an Oatmeal Porter, and she seemed interested to try it, even though she likes piss beer (Mich Ultra). My Dunkelweizen is still in the fermenter, but I think I do want to make the Porter next.
In the fall, it is only 90 with the chance of a hurricane here instead of 95 and God knows what humidity LOL.

We pick on each other all the time between me being a somewhat beer snob and her liking piss beer. I have found things at the breweries that she will drink, and that is wonderful. Most places that I go to have either a light lager or a Kolsch.
I'm pretty desperate before I drink the Ultra, Bud, or Miller. I do like Guinness and Modelo.

Pretty much all of the Breweries we visit have something that Barb likes as well, pretty much the only time she drinks beer.

I’ve been a little sidetracked with life. Finally I am going to brew this coming week. Since it’s already September, I’m gonna try and make an Oktoberfest beer. This is what I have on the recipe. Will probably use a Munich lager yeast if I can find it. Any advice is appreciated.
