I visited a brewery today!

Flounder Pounder? That was one of my college roommate's nickname, lol.

Y'all aren't used to it feeling like 105 or 110 every day in the summer :) Shit, I'll drink Porters in the summer if they are sesionable enough:)
Just the other day, I enjoyed a couple pints of Spruce Wayne, a spruce tip flavored Cascadian Dark Ale brewed by Falling Sky. It was a reasonably hot day here in Eugene, OR at about 85F.

We do get the feels like up near 100 at times, but no, not quite the same as south Florida...
Porters and Stouts are more a "time of day", rather than a "time of year" for me. Middle of a hot day, ain't the time of day. They are an evening, late evening, or dessert kind of beer for me.
Speaking of which, a Coffee Porter is in my not too distant brewing future!

I’ll say that a Dry Stout is, by far, the most “year-round” beer for me. Though, to be fair, that is from someone who sees four seasons.

Yeah, to me a Stout finishes drier than a Porter. Then again, there is @Minbari 's Sweet Stout. Who knows, call this one or that one what you will, I do love them dark and chewy!

A little vacation. We stayed in Stone Harbor. Went to Obscura Brewing in Cape May Courthouse (?) as well. Saw the beach for a hot minute one day, mostly bar hopped and ate too much.
Ah, nice! Nothing like the Jersey shore, especially down that end. Yes, Cape May Court House.

So yeah, there's a brewery in Cozumel. Pics have the location data. Place is run by Adrienne, owner & head brewer. Very interesting story, I believe I had them all and enjoyed them all. The best part was, I took a tour to find the joint, and I got to jaw with Adrienne for ... well, I don't know, 90 minutes?
Very cool place, recommend if you're in the barrio.

The park down there is gorgeous. It that by the Bob Marley bar?
