What are you drinking right now?

I didn't take pic, but I am taking a sample of what I made. I think it still needs to sit for about a week, but it is going to be quite interesting on the taste buds once it sits. I wanted to make a Dunkelweizen, but put a couple of ingredients from my Dubbel in it.
I ended up with 50% Wheat, 17.3% Munich I, 15.4% Pils, 3.8% Special B, 3.8% Caramunich III, 3.8% Aromatic, 1.9% Carafa Special III, and 3.8% Rice Hulls.
I wasn't sure how this was going to turn out with that combination, the Hefe yeast, and the Mittelfreuh, but it is going to be unique LOL.

Any banana? Bready?

Any banana? Bready?
I did get some banana. It isn't as bready because of all the dark malts I used, but that might change in a week. It is still evolving. On Friday, it almost had a heavy crystal thing going on. Saturday was much better and more mellow. We shall see in a few more days. It has only been in the keg since a week ago Saturday, and only really fermented for about 12 or 13 days after a very slow start.

We have the Land Yacht out for a short trip to Black Beach in Silver Bay, MN. We are just drinking store bought canned beer but it is packing a punch, I am seeing all kinds of strange critters running around the campsite.

Okay, turns out that that was not a Fullers ESB, nice beer though. That is what the tap said, and what I asked for, but that ain't what it is...
