Franconian Lager. 50/50 Munich/pils 26 ibu tradition/perle mix. 34/70

Mix and serve grapefruit seltzer to appease the heat dome lords. Being specific about the process as a follow up to the June happy hour :D no I didn't ferment the alcohol and I think the product is better for it

Get a half gallon of the cheapest Vodka you're willing to drink. I use Svedka 100 proof for $18.99. Combine with 4.5 gallons tap water and 1.2 ounces of TrueCitrus grapefruit powder in a corny keg. Put in kegerator at 30 psi. Once it starts cooling down, shake for a couple of minutes throughout the day. It should be carbonated in 24 hours, but 48 is probably best. Turn down to serving pressure, and voila! 5 gallons of ~4.5% abv grapefruit seltzer for under $25. If you use 80 proof Vodka it's closer to 4%abv.

That TrueCitrus company makes freeze-dried powders of a bunch of fruits; passionfruit, mango, pineapple, lime, and more. I get mine 6 oz at a time from MoreBeer.
