Flash brewing Citra session pale ale

Hometown Craft by an excellent brewer who is also one of our long-standing club members:

(yes, I know, not a beer-clean glass, my apologies)

It is indeed rather tasty—toasty, slight sweetness, balanced hops with a hint of Orange, medium-full bodied, well carbonated. (cans are tough for head retention, they don't have a packaging line but fill from the tap like a Crowler)

it's a nice glass for sure but it obstructs the view
I bet my Czech lager would go nicely in there

The last pour of my Summer Pale Ale, the keg has kicked. My wife complimented me on the clarity of this beer - it is almost brilliant? Next up will be my Summer Wheat Ale, but that will be bottled since our garage fridge will be put into “regular” fridge duty during our kitchen remodel, which starts next Tuesday. Today we began the fun task of emptying our kitchen of everything that has become familiar over the past 4 years.

That does look nice.

Kveik session IPA brewed on Sunday. Looks and tastes like it! :D just because you can go grain to glass in 5 days doesn't mean you always should lol it'll be better by Monday.

My extract batches have been way more bitter than predicted. I have the recipe calculator set to only having half the dme at the start of the boil, but still the predicted IBUs are not on par with what I'm tasting. Maybe there's something in my water? I'm not mashing anything so I dont think it's a pH problem, and it's the same water I use to brew all-grain without issue. This beer is still green, so I'm sure it'll settle some and lose some yeast bite too
