Today I turned water, grains and hops into wort. Now yeast gets to make some beer for me. This is my Summer Wheat 2026, hopped with Amarillo and Simcoe, pitched with BRY-97. Volume is just a tad short, and O.G. is a couple points high (funny how that works when adding 15 minutes to the boil, just because). This is probably the last batch to be made on this cooktop, and I feel like I am going to miss this first radiant cooktop that I ever worked with

English IPA

Shooting for 5.5% and 45 IBUs

Maris Otter, British 65L crystal, torrified wheat and invert.
Bittered with Pilgrim and late hopped with EKG and Jester, a hops (hop?? grammar police!) I’m not familiar with.
1028 London Ale

1.056 was a little high, so maybe bonus ABV.
