    Grains to have on hand

Damn, looking at prices are a little shocking. The price for a 55 lb bag isn't the issue... its the shipping! I have found some places with free shipping on orders over $99 which is just a few bags of grains.

    Grains to have on hand

I have recently transitioned into all-grain brewing and am working to establish a solid inventory of base malts and specialty grains. While I intend to consistently keep American 2-row malt on hand, I would appreciate guidance on other base malts that are practical and versatile enough to stock...

    All-In-One Brewhouse Help thread

I plan to purchase an all-in-one (AIO) brewing system this weekend and am currently considering the Brewzilla 65L, the Grainfather G40, or the Anvil Foundry 18G. I am seeking feedback and recommendations from the community, particularly from individuals who have firsthand experience with one or...

What are you drinking right now?

Dark Cherry Hard Seltzer. Just bottled 5 days ago, so little carbonation so far. Will let it sit for two weeks or so, but the taste is amazing!

What are you drinking right now?

Here is the recipe. This is an extract kit from Northern Brewer. I've had this kit for about 8 months before I brewed it. LME kits have been darker than expected.. So I have switched to DME kits from Ritebrew. Brewed this kit when I didn't have anything else on my shelf.

    hello from Iowa!

Welcome back! I just started brewing a year ago February, so I don't have the knowledge that a lot of people here do... but here is what the google says... I'm sure others will disagree or not.. For an Irish Red Lager, ferment with a clean lager strain (like W-34/70) starting at 48–55°F for...

This shows how much I need to learn! No idea what the different additions do, or don't do for the final product as far as taste , etc...

    Munich Helles... maybe?

Trying to take the advise from both @HighVoltageMan, and @dmtaylor I made some changes to the recipe. Let me know what you think. I am open to more critiques and changes. Thanks

    Munich Helles... maybe?

I do use RO water. I will modify the recipe and get rid of Baking Soda and adjust Hops. I appreciate all of the response's, as I am learning a lot being on this forum

    Munich Helles... maybe?

I listened to your pH podcast a few times. I will need to listen a few more times and probably take notes, but I loved the information!

    Munich Helles... maybe?

Thank You for your reply! I will do the mini-mash process instead of the steeping suggestion! I will play with the recipe and more than likely remove one of the 60 min additions.
