What are you doing with homebrew today?

Added dry hops to fermenter, sure woke the yeast up when I let the pressure off!

    BF Fantasy football league?

Mind you wave 12 players and put in $35 each. I'm suggesting we do something like this, I'm just sharing. No @Brew Cat , or Radagast?

    BF Fantasy football league?

I liked sleeper, my other league is switching to ESPN, no idea what it is like to use yet. I'm good to throw in $20 too. In my other league, we have three cash prizes. If you finish 1st in the regular season, your prize is getting your entry fee back. It ain't easy to finish 1st. Then the big...

What are you drinking right now?

Okay, turns out that that was not a Fullers ESB, nice beer though. That is what the tap said, and what I asked for, but that ain't what it is...

What are you drinking right now?

At a little Pubin Fergus Ontario, they have Fullers ESB on cask served with a beer engine! It is a little undercarbed, probably to be expected.

    Fresh Water Calcs

Re your source water. I agree, Magnesium and Sodium seem pretty high, not much you can do with that except to cut it with RO or distilled. How are your lagers? I'm no expert on lagers (the only one I have ever brewed was Bulins Shady Bo) my understanding is that lagers are best with relatively...

What are you doing with homebrew today?

Checked on the IPA I racked onto Nottingham cake. Ya, I'm pushing the volume in the fermenter. Krausen is pretty well behaved under pressure, and it is at 17C, it should be fine.

    Fan of FULLER´S ESB

For scaling the recipe you can use the goal function, select ABV, and enter 5.9, it will scale your grain bill. Looks like you will need to adjust the hops manually (I don't use the software here.). I would use this approach as just changing the amount of water you are using won't track anything...

    I brewed today!

I have no means to do so, it started frolicking within about an hour, it will be what it will be

    Fan of FULLER´S ESB

1059 to 1010 works out to 6.4% ABV, I would scale that back. What is the ABV on that bottle of Fullers you have there. The Googs tells me that Fullers ESB is 35 IBU's, makes sense that yours is more bitter. Personally, I would leave the grain bill percentages as they are, and scale it back to...

Is the link in this post the how you brewed this? If so, ABV seems way to high, should be mid to low 5's, also, 44 IBU's also seems on the high high side shoud be low to mid 30's. (In my opinion)
