I could see Citra working well in a wheat beer for summer, wouldn't want to overdo it though, Citra has a punch to it. Definitely wouldn't bitter with it

If you are ever over pressure again, don't panic, be sure to release the extra pressure slowly. The krausen will still grow, but you can keep it from erupting. The krausen isn't actually growing, what is happening is that the Co2 is coming out of solution rapidly and the foam is in the way...
