BEAVR Strawberry Cotton Candy Ale recipe. Question I have for Therealmccoy3 is when during your brew process did you add the cotton candy sugar? Had a Cotton Candy Hefe this summer and just loved the flavor.

Adjunct sugars are usually added at the end of the boil. It sanitized the sugar and does further cook the sugar or boil off aromas.

It's sucrose, flavor and color. Add it to the end of the boil. By the way, you could get by cheaper with table sugar, flavoring and food color....

There's a hint of caramel flavor in cotton candy...I'd make some invert sugar on the stove and get it just into a nice blonde color. Then some really good strawberry extract in the secondary or even in the keg. If it's a Hefe, fermenting at high temp is what's going to give a lot of the fruity flavors.
