I'm brewing a new BIAB recipe later this week and it calls for a first wort hops addition. My mash will be 150 F and I'll probably lose a few degrees (I usually only lose 2-4 degrees). Should I wait until the water heats up a bit or just throw 'em right in.

Just throw em in once you've removed your grains and transferring to kettle to begin boil. For biab it's when I raise the grain bag to begin the sparge and start heating to boil in goes the FWH addition . Simple.

Ditto. In when the bag comes out, which is generally around 170F but not critical.

I BIAB, and don't mash out or sparge.
So as soon as the bag is out of the way, the FWH go in

I just toss them in the kettle.

Thanks guys. Brewing this today and that's exactly what I did. We'll see how it goes :)
