Is it possible to change a recipe on this site from, for example 20lts to 10lts.

If you're using the recipe calculator, you're already in the "edit" part and "recipe tools" drop down is at the top right part of the page. It's where you get to the "scale", "share" and other functions.

could also just scale all your numbers in half, do it by hand, make a few tweaks and make sure all your numbers work.

OK i found it. Sorry for the dumbness.
I changed the
American Pale Ale Single Hop - Cascade recipe from 21lts to 10lts and it adjusted the boil amount. With the fermentables, hops and yeast do you need to enter the original quantities for 21lts and the edit tool will automatically adjust the quantities needed for a smaller batch?

it will not add anything it just adjusts what you have in the original recipe

So when i adjust the batch size it will change the hops etc if needed. So its saying now same amount of hops for a 21lt and 10lt batch. With the fermentables it says 50% bill, so does that mean half the fermentable but no change to the hops.

it will change everything id done right, use the New Batch Size

Ok i tried the ginger beer recipe and changed it from 17.2lts to 10lts batch size and it still shows the exact ingredients for both. Would that be right?

i didn't see this but your a trial member, you don't have the same functions as members

oh ok so when i become a member it will adjust the ingredients to the size batch automatically?
