Ok,i have a glut of blackberries and will be doing a blackberry stout as a previous one was really good.
Would like to tackle a 'blushing blonde' type brew, ie a pale ale with added blackberries to just give it that tinge of colour and taste.
Question is,anyone know what sort of quantity i would need to add to a 5 or 6 litre brew without actually going overboard and turning the beer purple:eek::)

Ok,not to worry.Have found some info on it.
Will be my next but one brew,if it turns out any good,i will post it up

Cheers Ben
never tried one !
Respectfully disagreeing. Saison has too much going on. I'd go with simple, a Blonde or Amber to let the fruit come through. For a Saison, i'd use the fruit as a subtle background note.
