cork on the floor

i found the cork on the floor the day after i set the blow off, it is a one gallon carboy
i don't know how many hours it was like this
should i continue the fermentation or it should be considered contaminated?
any one had something like this?

Your fermentor spat the dummy or should i say cork haha. At least you know fermentation wad healthy:).

Wort sort of brew we dealing with here its already got some character about it?
 
I'd move forward with it. Take a sample when you rack or package it. I'd bet it'll be acceptable.

it is a smash - Mosaic & Maris Otter , very active fermentation! OG was pretty high
