All Taps pouring all foam

ok Ive got a strange one, I haven't changed my set up in 5 years and all the sudden after brewing and drinking an exract beer all 4 taps pour strait foam, no beer at all, this boggles me and Ive tried all the tricks
 
It is weird that all taps are pouring foam. Sounds like a co2 issue or temperature.
 
I guess its time for a through cleaning and new tank of gas, thats the only thing I haven't tried
 
the foam is back tracking into the regulator yes and thats not good
 
that question is why the heck now, and why all foam in every keg :rolleyes:
 
You are probably already doing this but unhook the kegs, and turn off the tank.
See if you lose pressure from regulator then. Sounds like over pressuring, regulator messed up or keezer quit and got to warm?
Can't rule out a bug got in the gas lines and infected the kegs but not very likely all would go at the same time. Do you have separate valves for each keg line? If just tee'd between the kegs one beer could have gone bad and got them all going.
 
I have a valve for each keg but I did force carb my lat 2 beers for 3 days which I usually don't do but the beers are not over carbed thats what weird, everything was bled down to 4 psi and reconnected, I chilled the keezer to 33 last night, letting it set for 2 days unhooked will see tomorrow
 
Good point. I believe my manifold has check valves so that one keg can't affect the others, or the regulator.
 
If you have a bad keg blowing back this should show it unless it already got into the other kegs. I don't trust those check valves. I have had over full kegs almost get back to the regulator before even after bleeding after force carbing at higher pressure.
 
Bad regulator and maybe empty/low pressure bottle?
Beer/foam can't back up into the lines unless the pressure is less coming into the keg than what's already in there. And you probably have some sort of breech in your keg-to-keg connections.
 
ok just an update after 24 hours with the gas off everything unplugged a degassed to no pressure and chilled down to 33F the beer still came out completely foam and there was plenty of pressure in the keg to dispense with no gas hooked up, you would think its over carbed but I swear it doesn't taste that way :confused:

not a single bubble rising from the bottom once it turns into beer

You've got yourself a doosey there ozarks. So you left that keg 24 hrs degassed and of co2 and you got foam pour straight off pressure that has built up in keg over that time?? That's one for Moulder and Scully o_O. How's the beer taste does it taste,infected because infected bottles can become gushers so maybe something similar is happening in your keg but on a bigger scale?
 
well I will admit its not the best tasting beer, more soap or band-aid flavor but just a hint, not to bad, Ive had worse

might be a good time to get out the bleach :D

So it's not lacto then no bitter bite at back of mouth our sourness. But isn't this happening with all your kegs or just this one?

You could go extreme and just take that keg outta your keezer for a day vent off all the co2 then chill and start again? This wouldn't hurt o_O either way it beats getting a cup of foam when your thirsty.
 
nothing worse than waiting for foam to dissipate when your thirsty for a beer lol
