looks cool, any videos of some one doing all the steps?

So many options on market now .
I know plenty of Aussies are using 40 litre tea / coffee urns which is similar to this but without the accurate control

I wonder how the energy costs compare between electric boiling and using gas. Buying propane runs about $4 a batch, but if I switched over to natural gas, it would be much cheaper. I'm thinking that would likely beat electric, since most of our juice comes from burning gas anyway...

electric brewing is about 1/3rd of the cost of a flamed system and uses 100% of its heating source, a flame loses 1/2 its energy up in the air so electric is even more efficient than you think

Good point about the heat efficiency. I hadn't thought of that. Now if I could just figure out a way to get my fire to burn inside my wort!

I've seen a homebrew video on this. A Victorian homebrew store posted a video of them doing a brew in their store. It's pretty much a grainfather same basket same low high wattage switch. Looks the goods that little tap makes it look like a bit of a toy though.

I just bought this equipment today. Definite impulse buy. I plan to use it tomorrow.

Now, or when I’m using it?

oh I was taking about brew day, sorry in the middle of in humans premier

In the directions, it says not to pick it up when it’s full. It indicates the handles might not support the weight. I find that to be odd.

I’m guessing their lawyers told them to say that.

Looks just like Aussie robobree to me mate;). Yep cant wait to here feed back . Has it recirculation pump?

No pump. But I’m excited about having a thermostat! I’ll be using it in my basement, see how that goes. That will eliminate having to carry a scalding hot kettle of wort from my garage down a flight of stairs to my basement.
