I put together an 8 ft. long brewing station today. Ithe incorporates a work table and I made it long enough to attach my lagering freezer. Everything is painted black and the whole setup sits on locking casters.

I have a HLT and Mash Tun stand I built that stagers in height for gravity flow. They can be fixed to the the end of the new brew station during a brew day. I then stick my burner on the end outside they garage door.

Temp controller (InkBird) for the lagering vessel is mounted and all wiring is organized and secured with a mounted surge protector.

I am really pleased with how it turned out - it was really economical all in all. I will post pictures during the next brew day so you can see the whole setup.

Welcome thoughts/feedback. This sure beats the plywood and saw horses I used to setup for a brew table!

Thanks.

Looks the goods there wood house. I'm sure this will serve you well in the coming days;). How long did this take you to knock up. Now to test it out:),I see that carboy is empty there sitting on the bench:D

That carboy will be filled tomorrow as a secondary for an American Pale Ale I brewed 7 days ago.

It took me about 5 hrs. to finish including painting. I'll be using it next week for a German Pilsner brew.

Thanks Trialben!

Nice work! I've been needing to re-organize my set-up and get brewing after the disruption of moving to a new house. Plenty of room now, but everything is just a wreck until I can get it all sorted and organized.

Is that why you disappeared for a while? At least, you've got plenty stocked up beer that is:p.

Wood house just remember every ounce of paint will be needed with brewing all that liquid being boiled transfered and sloshed about let alone cleaning carboys and bottles/kegs it's bound to try to find its way into the timber on your fresh work bench:).

Oh and here is my German pils recipe im drinking ATM its brewed with ale yeast but nice refreshing brew

Yeah...I've still got a decent pipeline, but the kegs are running low. I'm hoping to brew today or tomorrow to get a few things going until I can get fully set up.

Thread drift alert: Trialben, how did that yeast do for your pils? Clean and malty? I need to push a few batches for a party at the end of January and I'd love to keg up a big hoppy Pils. I recon 8 weeks probably isn't long enough to let a lager yeast settle down fully.

JA, you could try a 'steam pils', using White Labs San Francisco Lager Yeast. It's made for use at ale temps, so should be done quickly.

Haven't tried it myself, but it's on my list...

Yep clean enough for me sandiego super yeast is Wlp001 on steroids so to speak it's a neutral fermentor averages 80-81% attenuation The pils I made dropped to 1.008.

As for hops my recipe is pretty tame just enough cascade to be present without becoming overwhelming.

I went 2-1 gypsum to chloride for water profile trying to get that crispness without Lagering :).

I really enjoy seeing all the different ways people brew. Looks very useable. If it works good for you, you will do just like the rest of us and tweek it sometime anyway. Dig the paper towel holder:D. Brew On!

In action.
