Italian Pils

tasting notes on my Italian pilsner
the Eraclea pilsner is smooth not sure why some brewers blend
maybe to stretch it out with a more available pilsner malt
I got the fine peach taste from the sladek hops
a slight aroma but would like more next time I will dry hop at the d-rest temperature longer
this time I dry hopped at 160F and then started lowering the temperature
all in all a nice drinker
@Bigbre04 how did yours sell

So had my first good Italian pils today. Local brewhaus made it. Was pretty good, seemed a little sweeter than German or Czech

Mine is crashing today ill carb it tomorrow and pack it probably thursday. it hit 85% attenuation and is very good. not as clear as i would prefer, but i could toss biofine on it. but also time will tell.

hit 5.5%. very tasty even if it is a little hazy. it will be behind my Imperial lager so it will be a min before it actually is on draft

Well I have 3 Pils on tap now the Italian, the German, and the Czech Lager which is a Pils.
When I was in the Czech Republic they are very strict with the naming so to be respectful of that I call it a Czech Lager wink wink

well Ive been to most of those countries other than Belgium and Luxemberg which Im planning to visit next year. The Czech Republic is very cool
the people are much warmer than those other countries. Believe it or not they seem to actually like Americans. They drink more beer per Capita than any other Country. Of course my grandfolks were Bohemian so I may be biased. I want to go back
