I did notice as I was pitching the Nottingham into the fermenter the package said to rehydrate or activate before using. Hope it takes off..

No, no use doing that. I don’t know why they put that on the packages. Sprinkle it and go.

No need to rehydrate, dry yeast has come a long way baby!

24 hours later it is bubbling away. I dont see much on the tilt but it is bubbling so it will catch up sooner or later .

And I was worried abour rehydrating the Nottingham. I am not at home , looking at the trend, I hope it is not blown out all over the fridge.
