Break out a big mug and some Lederhosen and I'll be set!

Very nice tap! But what about that Ford in the background? Looks like a fine hotrod.

What is that box? i assume you are just cooling it with ice? A flow control faucet will save you a lot of beer and headaches with that setup.

For your next iteration, i would highly recommend building in a jockey box top that. You keep the box full of ice. Spend the cash and get the 100ft SS coil not the cool plate(these suck ass).

yup. they are not cheap, but a good all SS one is a solid investment and will last longer then you. a quick google search puts them between $50 and $70.

how are you cooling the keg/beer? Is that tower foam filled or open to the the keg area? to get that to pour properly you will need the beer to be SUPER cold.

Look up a Jockey box setup. if you are serving this for Oktoberfest, you should have time to get one setup if you are interested in doing so.

I just stopped into the university of YouTube to see a video of the flow control in action. Then went ahead and ordered one.
Thanks for the advice.

I plan to just fill the box with ice. The tower is open to the cooler and I installed better insulation than it had.
I doubt I will go with the Jocky box. This project is way out of control now for a onece a year party.

totally understandable. the really important thing is to keep the beer in the hose between the keg and the faucet from getting warm or you will have a ton of foam.

Does it have to be just once a year? :p

It is a wheeled trashcan, with foam insulation cut to fit, a 5# CO2 tank inside, and 3 5 gallon corney kegs. One thing added also was a drain, near the very bottom, so I could fill with ice, and then drain as needed.

The flow control faucet sounded like good advice, I got a fancy gold one.
