I love this thing. my mother in law got it for me for christmas one year. best part is all the parts are serviceable. only had a temp sensor go out once.Sweet! I had a cheaper one but gave up and got a nespresso. Wish I had room to keep it.
I have over of those too. For regular coffee that is my go toI just use an aeropress, as I prefer to minimise power use (I'm on limited solar only) and I only drink one big cup a day anyway
Lol, i don't call it that.Italian made baccarat stove top is my go too cheap simple and makes a damn good cup of (what do you Americans call it) Joe!
I've never* called it Joe either, but I admit that anyone asking in a place where coffee (Caw Fee) is served would not ever misunderstand a request for a "cuppa Joe".Lol, i don't call it that.
I have one of those too. Prolly have 6+ coffee makers, lol
Have a percolator, Italian stove top, French press, pour over, espresso machine, drip machine (never use it), kuerig, veitnamese coffee.
Dropping it to 9 bar really does make a big difference—way closer to proper espresso extraction, so no surprise you’re seeing better shots now. Funny how something small like pressure can change everything after years of useSo i have had this machine for 10 years! Just learned that pulling barista quality shots needed this!

Apparently the pressure this machine pulls shots at was 12-14 bar from the factory. Needed to be 9 bar. Who knew? So after 10 years this thing really does an amazing job lol

Me too. I like making strong, normal, hazelnut coffee from a cheaper Walmart machine that uses actual coffee instead of the Keurig bullshit.I just use an aeropress, as I prefer to minimise power use (I'm on limited solar only) and I only drink one big cup a day anyway
yes the burr grinder is keywe use a ninja drip coffee with a double walled carafe...gf wakes at 5a for work so we need the preset times. atleast with the ss insulated carafe it isnt burnt by the time i get to it around 7. I do have a fancy burr grinder.
i mean generally we drink members mark breakfast blend during the week. On the weekends we drink whole bean fancy coffee. during the week we are just looking for caffiene.yes the burr grinder is key
whole beans only
I didn't think I needed to mention this
