yeah....still hot enough to kill stuff but no boil over, no scorch...give it a few stirs to help with uniform spread and further dissolving like whirlpooling then drop in your chilling coil...if you do it that way.
 
Exactly. Basically turn the heat off, add the sugar in while stirring, give it a couple minutes just to make sure it's mixed in with stirring, chill the wort.
Boom. Roberts your mothers brother.
 
Would you add whirlfloc to this brew?
 
I personally add whirlfloc to every brew, and cold crash as well.
Even the Hazy's, and yes, they stay hazy.
 
I put whirlfloc in everything too, but it's entirely a preference thing.
