Pump up the gravity! (how to?)

I missed my OG last brew day by 1.010. Although I know it's not the end of the world, would it benefit me to add a bit of extract in the primary bucket to up the gravity?

Yes that is a method many people use and it works without changing what you intended it to taste like too much if at all

I have done this a number of times.
I normally don't bother for a few points, say I was expecting 1061, and I get 1057, but for 10 points I definitely bump the gravity up with some DME. Pretty sure there is a calculator for this to get from gravity X to gravity Y, but I have always just eyeballed it.

I'm guessing you missed by 0.010? You can add extract or sugar, your choice.
