I’m making what I’ve called “Citrus Sunshine IPA”, because the sun is finally shiny here in the UP of Michigan.

I’m using some of my favorite hops (Amarillo, chinook and mosaic) and doing a small 5.25 gallon batch.

I’ve never used Omega Voss Kviek before, and my house is on the cool side so we’ll see how it does!

The combo of those malts in the mash made the whole house smell like warm bread. I still have 25 minutes left in the boil, so decided to sit down and play on my iPad.

Permission error Yooper.
Strange how some people don't like the smell of a brew kettle at boil.
My last brew was really smelly inn a good way to all those roast and caramel malts kinda makes me hungry.

I love that smell! However, my family does not, so that is why I brew outside; which is what I wanted to do anyway so it was a win-win.
