I've thumbed through it and it's definitely interesting. Lots of mead recipes using heather or bee pollen/royal jelly. Beers with yarrow and hemlock. There's a huge disclaimer at the front warning people to not brew the recipes included. A lot of ancient beer recipes included now-known toxic plants, because in low doses it would have hallucinogenic effects.
