Rain and wind have finally stopped.
Beer is OK although I had one oxebar outside the fridge for carbonation. Moved it back in. Carbing can wait.
Waiting for sun to see if my panels are OK. Looks promising.
(Note: these are 2 small panels, the main big supply is fine)
Bit of welding and lot of cleaning and I should be good again.
Everything looks better in day light!

Hydraulic system we are currently building.
Two pumps driven by 50 horsepower motors, and one charge pump driven by a 5 horsepower motor.
The charge pump is to make sure the main pumps aren't starved so they won't cavitate and destroy themselves.

Not my project, I'm not sure what the application is to be honest.
The biggest power unit order I did a few years ago was a 10 x 10 horsepower systems at about $12k CDN each, looked similar to below.
This system was the power supply for shortening tubes in the heat exchanger in a nuclear plant.
Exposed to radiation the tubes grow over time and need to be shortened.
They only needed one, but ordered 10 for contingency in case there was a failure...
There was no failure, they asked to return the other 9, but unfortunately everything was custom built...
No wonder electricity is so expensive!

Hydraulic oil, probably between 2000 and 3000 PSI, that is a sweet spot for efficiency.I need that for my Whirlpool pump

With hydraulics pressure is nearly free, flow rate is what costs the big bucks!
Two 50HP motors, I expect there is some significant flow in that system
Woah that is an important pump don't want that reactor heating up
.That's one thing Aus has stayed away from even though we got uranium a plenty so we ship it off to the rest of the world and pay through our arses for Electricity! (Sorry rant over Electricity gone up I sware 100% last year).
