(M)Oktoberfest – Brewing an Oktoberfest Ale with Wyeast 1007

I've done lagers fermented at 18c with 34/70 another option glad you had success.

I did one with S-04 English yeast. It was okay, but it really wasn't as clean and ester-free as I would have liked.
 
I thought a California Common lager yeast was a little higher fermenting temperature? I thought i read that somewhere, but i could be mistaken. You could also do a lagered ale as well.

Kolsch yeast has a wide fermentation range and I've had good luck with it. Wyeast 2565 is a good choice for many different styles. It might be another good option.
