On a side note I cut my bines down covered with a healthy layer of mulch but that thing is throwing the odd shoot it just don't wanna sleep!

I did...I did!
I just planted a Centennial rhizome today, so we’ll see in a couple weeks, I hope, maybe? A home in the neighborhood has well established hops that are already a couple feet long. Things grow here like the Shire.
The snowdrift finally melted off the hops bed so perhaps they'll sprout soon...

Oh yeah up she rises early in the morning!
Trusted my occasional brew buddy, well he’s always my buddy to take care of the hops. He can find them….deer most likely? So I’m debating starting over and getting some rhizomes for my house.
Went ahead and got a few Tettnang rhizomes. Give that a shot myself.
