This is a great beer for the holidays. What screams Thanksgiving or Christmas more than pumpkin pie? Make sure you use plenty of rice hulls or you will have a stuck sparge. You can toast 2 row for 15 minutes at 350 to make your own toasted malt and cooking the pumpkin for 30 minutes can develop more caramel flavors. After the boil this beer had a great pumpkin flavor and the aroma from the spices were incredible.
