Yeast taken out of fridge night before and added to 1.2 lt nutrient at 7am and placed on the stirrer. The yeast (Whitelabs Irish) only fizzed slightly on opening and is passed it's sell-by date so will be interesting to see how it performs. After 8 hours on stirrer there is some bubbling, fingers crossed |

Very clean tasting stout. Not as rich as 'Heroes' which is understandable. This is a quaffing stout that is very clean on the palate despite being just 7 days in the keg |
