WARNING: Kettle losses > 2% detected which throw off OG calculation for extract/partial mash recipes in batch target 'fermentor' mode. Solution: Reduce kettle losses, misc losses and hops absorption in equipment profile, OR set batch target to 'kettle' and do a full wort boil. See batch target FAQ.

Notes
  1. Do not add honey or corn sugar on brew day.

  2. Steep grains at 153-154F for 1 hour. Remove, then add extract and boil.

  3. Fill fermenter to 4 gallons.

  4. On day 3 of fermentation, heat-treat the raw honey in a saucepan at 175F for 2 and a half hours. Mix with boiled water, add to fermenter, then top off to 5 gallons.

  5. Prime using corn sugar.
