WARNING: Kettle losses > 2% detected which throw off OG calculation for extract/partial mash recipes in batch target 'fermentor' mode. Solution: Reduce kettle losses, misc losses and hops absorption in equipment profile, OR set batch target to 'kettle' and do a full wort boil. See batch target FAQ.

Notes

Inspired by Mountain Traffic by Crux. "The hops bill is complex and inventive: Styrian Goldings and Centennial hops in the kettle; Centennial, Vic Secret, & Denali in the hop back. There are six malts used: Debittered Black 2-5% for color and subtle flavor, Special B (extra special malt from briess 130 L probably 5% or less, Cara45, CaraMunich 60 L (3-10% probably low end), Dextra Pils (carapils similar product for head 1-5%), and 2 Row.

maybe sub golden light since it has 1% carapils

keep crystal malts 15% or less so not too sweet

ibu/og 0.7 or so (46/66)

hop stand can substitute for the hop back

.25 to 0.5 lb of cara/crystal malts
0.125 of really dark (chocoloate etc)

spec malts 30% by weight if LME used for comparable example hoppy red on byo with ABV of 6.67 OG 66

SRM 17ish?

mountain traffic 7.8%, IBU 50
