Order:
End of mash add hops
add boil hops
chill wort to 170f add hop stand and hold for 30 minutes
chill to 70F pitch yeast

Robobrew mash tips:

  • Stirr mash at least twice.
  • Sparge slowly, raise malt pipe slowly and add sparge water, then dip into wort to rinse grain better, avoid compacting grain bed.
    -during mash, take temp from middle of grain bed rather than what probe on bottom reads.
  • keep grain below 1 pound.
  • make sparge smaller and mash thinner.
