I have been brewing for over 20 years. I grow my own hops (although I don't produce enough to meet my brewing needs). I currently brew with the Robobrew Brewzilla system. I use a lot of technology to assist in monitoring and temperature control. Tilt and BrewJacket are my two best friends!
I brew primarily IPAs, with Brut IPA's being one of my favorite new IPA styles. In the winter I tend to brew lagers, then switch to ales in the spring and fall. I have been doing a lot of experimentation with kveik yeast lately and am thrilled at the ability to ferment at higher temperatures.
