My yeast inventory didn't appear to be sorted logically in a while, so I edited each entry to make sure I had the proper info for each. I used the built-in drop down lists to choose the Brand and Name of each yeast. I only had to add one custom yeast Safale Safcider.
After doing this I sorted the yeast list by clicking the "Yeast" column header. It put the list in alphabetical order by Brand and then Name. Looked good.
I left my inventory to perform other updates and then came back. The yeast entries were no longer in alphabetical order by Brand, then Name. The were sorted by Name independent of Brand.
I prefer the sort by Brand and then Name (Wyeast / American Ale 1056); however, if others prefer the Name being the primary sort, then the I think the Name should be listed first instead of the Brand (ie. American Ale 1056 / Wyeast).
